Social events and fund-raising
Our Home-School Association (HSA) exists to involve parents / carers in the life of the school. It’s all about organising social events, for both children and their families and raising funds for school.
There is and has been for many years a very active HSA at Christ Church. All members of staff and families of children at the school are automatically members of the association.
The HSA arranges Christmas Fayres and other events for the children. Money raised from such events often subsidises the ‘extras’ such as sports kits, learning tools and one-off events. The HSA funds our annual trip to the pantomime at Christmas every year, which is a fabulous treat for all. Money may also help provide additional resources for use in the school.
The Christmas Fayre, Summer Fayre, Children’s Discos, Pancake Day Races, Easter competitions and non-uniform days are some of the highlights of the year.
Christ Church HSA is a great way to get involved and feel part of school life and also to get to know other families. We are often lucky enough to have parents / carers return to help out, after their children have gone on to junior school.
Support us, by becoming active members or simply joining in the events we organise! If you are able to lend a hand to improve your child’s school days, even if it is only for a short time, please do.
Contact the school office or speak to any member of school staff and we’ll put you in touch with key parents in the HSA.
